Accounting Manager

Small but growing CPA Firm with offices in Madison Village and Claridon seeks an energetic accountant with business and personal tax preparation experience to deliver outstanding client service in a relaxed, flexible, family-friendly environment.

Maintaining the friendly culture that we have developed with our clients and our team members is of the utmost importance. The optimal candidate must be able to communicate in a timely manner with our clients and provide knowledgeable, honest, and valuable information and advice. This candidate must also be able to cooperatively work with, manage and assist our current team of accountants and staff members.

The ideal applicant will be self-motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented. They will be able to supervise, meet deadlines, multitask, and communicate effectively with clients and team. A minimum of 7 years of experience with preparing financial statements, business tax returns, and personal tax returns is required. You must be proficient with Thomson Reuters products, MS Office products, and QuickBooks.

Applicant must be CPA or EA.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Preparing tax returns for businesses and individuals
  • Preparing financial statements
  • Preparing and filing Sales and CAT Tax Returns
  • Developing business & tax planning strategies for business clients
  • Monthly/Quarterly Bookkeeping

Job Type: Full-Time

The person hired will have an office at our Madison location, but will also be able to work remotely as needed.
